For all the PMAG haters

While I've never understood it, there are people out there who want to hate on Magpul's PMAGs. I don't get it, I have a metric crap-ton of them in 20 and 30 round versions and I've never had a failure attributable to a magazine, and I like to shoot my ARs. But haters gonna hate.

The US Marines, on the other hand, seem to agree with me. One of their tests involved 20,400 rounds of M855A1...

Wait for it...

Without a stoppage.

Now that seems to bitch slap a couple of things the haters like to hate on, now doesn't it?

As a migraine sufferer, pain is a subject near if not dear to my heart. (Sidebar--migraine attacks are far from the most painful headaches. Cluster headaches are far worse. People commit suicide with these things. I count my blessings where I find them.) Ars Technica has an extraordinarily interesting article on pain, how it's measured and recent advances in the treatment of pain.

More gun grabbers take off the mask

(Via Gab)

We all know it--the "gun controllers" want all teh gunz. They want illegal guns and legal guns, magazine fed guns and single shot guns, scary guns and not scary guns.

Another group has just came out in public and said so.

Don't get too comfy basking in the warm glow of a presidential election victory.  The fight isn't over and it never will be. Keep your eyes open, your head down and your powder dry. They're still out for us.

Interesting research--Are liberals more likely than conservatives to commit crime?

(Via Gab)

A recent study by researchers at 4 major US universities shows that political ideology may be a predictor of criminal behavior. To those of us who are more than casual observers of the human condition, this isn't news, but it's nice to have some science, however preliminary, to back up our observations.

I remember when Microsoft caught mortal hell for their "avoid ghetto" mapping patent. Perhaps they need to work on a "avoid progressives" one as well.

For the geeks among my readers

(Via Ars Technica)

If you'd like to take a nice walk down Memory Lane, you could do worse than Viva Amiga. Being that it's a snow day here, I think I have found my afternoon's entertainment.
