I haz to lol

The New York Times editorial board, which twice endorsed President Obama and has championed many planks of his agenda, on Thursday turned on the president over the government's mass collection of phone data -- saying the administration has "lost all credibility."

A little late to the party, aren't you grandma?  I mean, how many times did this administration have to stomp the crap out of our civil rights before you were able to reach this conclusion?

D-Day, once again

We've heard it all before.  D-Day. Operation Overlord. Juno, Gold, Sword, Utah, Omaha.  Pointe du Hoc.  Brecourt Manor.  Every year, a lot of us bloggers talk about it.  None of us were there, but we talk about it.

Not this year, at least not for me.  This year, we're going to let a man who was there and got the pictures to prove it talk about it instead.

I'm just going to be thankful that such men lived.

Why would you walk away from training you had paid for?

Oh, because the instructor is unsafe?  That ought to be enough, don't you think?

Sean Sorrentino, the proprietor an An NC Gun Blog, has his first person story of training gone bad.  Venture over there and read it, because it's an amazing cautionary tale.

Edit, 6/6/2013 2033:  OK, so don't go.  Sean has closed the post.  I assume he got tired of the what was happening in the comments.
