Not quite, Sparky
President Obama is suggesting that House Republicans on the issue of gun control appear neither willing to work with him nor listen to the American public on the issue.
Mr. President, House Republicans are not willing to work with you precisely because they are listening to the American public. We're beating them over the head with our message--that we will not be made scapegoats and that we will not stand for any more laws that infringe on our rights. And if you do, we will take away the one thing in this world that means something to you--your phoney baloney job in DC.
You see, we can't get to you and your ilk--you're True Believers. But this assclowns are just politicians, so they are utterly amenable to pressure--and we're providing it just as hard and fast as we can. We're playing good old fashioned hard ball politics.
Speaking of which, you have hit up your Congresscritters this week, right? If not, get on it, because it's working.
