(Via The View From the Porch)
The truck explodes. The camera goes blank. Two young men go to their God. Six seconds. Not enough time to think about their families, their country, their flag, or about their lives or their deaths, but more than enough time for two very brave young men to do their duty into eternity. That is the kind of people who are on watch all over the world tonight - for you.
You ought to read it all.

Woot! Woot! Woot!
A federal district court judge in North Carolina has just struck down that state’s emergency power to impose a ban on firearms and ammunition outside the home during a declared emergency, ruling that the provision violates the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
While I fully expect the ruling to be appealed, I also doubt that it will be overturned. Up yours, Governor Dimples.

It never fails
When I say that I got nothing to talk about, something shows up.
How about a replica of the PPSh-41 in affordable .22 LR? That's got to put a smile on your face.

Kahr CM9 review
American Rifleman does a quick review of the Kahr CM9.
I've handled one, and it seems like a nice gun. My big beef is that it comes with one magazine, and spares do not seem to be readily available from Kahr dealers. Out of curiosity, I checked Midway USA; they're still out as well. Kind of limits the usefulness of the gun.
