If government run housing has problems like these, I really, REALLY don't want to see government-run healthcare.

A large portion of Europe died during the plauge due to flea infested rats.

What they need is a bunch of those discarded pet snakes from Florida to clean up the mess. Yep, a dozen or so Reticulated Pythons should do the trick.
