Peg the Hypocrisy Meter: How "green" can you get?

Here's the first of what I hope will be a semi-regular feature on the blog, pointing out the hypocrisy of liberals, leftists, statists or what ever sort of anti-freedom types happen to cross my path. I'm going to call it "Peg the Hypocrisy Meter". Subtle, huh?

Our first candidates come to us Via the HGTV show "House Hunters". Patricia and Bill are searching for a "green home" with a budget of $1,000,000. Yes, that's a lot of green....

So, at any rate, 2 adults, 1 kid and perhaps a dog wind up in a house that is over 4100 sq ft in size. That gives them around 1400 sq ft per person to rumble around in. And the house wasn't built green to start with, so they added some "green features" to make themselves feel better. They're also planning on more green, like at the end of the show when Good Old Bill is measuring for a TV, gets to a 50" screen and decides that's not big enough, having the kiddle stretching out toward 62".

Way to be green, guys. Keep up the good work. Gaea loves you!
