Apparently, just being able to do "engineering level work" without a license is some sort of crime. Talented amateurs everywhere, beware.
You really have to read the whole story to get the full infuriating effect. Perhaps the new NC Legislature can take a few minutes from their budget issues to reign in the NC Dept. of Transportation--or perhaps do it during their budget work.
