"Is Hayworth ad mocking McCain offensive?"

(Via the Drudge Report)

That is the question asked by the AZ/DC Blog.

Sen. John McCain's re-election campaign is decrying as insulting an online ad by GOP Senate challenger J.D. Hayworth that mocks McCain, R-Ariz., by defacing his picture with some sort of blue warpaint.

"Ads like this have no place in the Republican primary, and J.D. Hayworth should immediately take it down and apologize," said Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., a strong McCain ally.

Offensive? I certainly hope it is. While I admire Sen. McCain for his service record, his record in the Senate is less than admirable. Apologize for it? I think not. Stand your ground, Mr. Hayworth. Speak the truth and let the chips fall where they may.

The RINOs have been the ruination of the Republican party, and are why I left it. When they start acting like the Party of Reagen, when the decide it's time for a new Contract with America, then maybe I'll come back into the fold. Until then, I'm going to hang around outside and throw global warming balls (we used to call them snowballs when I was a kid) at them.
