The nation's largest cable operators are trying to find a way to get customers to watch cable TV shows online, but to pony up some money for the privilege.
So let's see...by this logic, the makers of over-the-air TV antennas should be paid by the cable companies because people aren't buying antennas to watch TV. Sorry boys, but you've let technology get away from you--this one doesn't fly. You need to adjust your business models accordingly.
