Me, I say it's time to wake up Leroy.

Same ol', same ol'
(Via the Drudge Report)
Spain's socialist government has declared "The era of cheap energy has passed." To prove it, they're cutting the speed limit, handing out free low energy light bulbs and turning off the lights. They're also pissing off the population, who deserves it--they elected them. Now they not only get the "caving in to terrorists" behavior, but all the rest of the Socialist belief system as well.
Darn, there goes another bloody t-shirt.
In the meantime, No Drill Nancy and her co-conspirators are soon going to bail out of Washington for avacation district work period, leaving the taxpayers with an unknown-hundred billion buck bailout of the foolish and greedy (you know, for those poor people that bought homes with loans they could never repay and the bankers who made the loans) and absolutely no progress on improving our energy situation.
Business as usual. Do you suppose the population will evr get tired of this and throw all the bastards on both sides out?
Me neither.

Another slapdown so soon?
You know, you'd think that The Powers That Be in DC would be able to figure out that the Supreme Court means what it says, but perhaps I overestimate their intelligence:
Given the pretty clear wording of the decision and the wording of the new DC law, I expect Mr. Heller to eventually win again. It may take some time, but in the end, I think he has a very good chance of administering another well-deserved spanking to Mayor Fenty. But it's a pity he has to make a hobby of suing the District of Columbia. At this rate, the poor guy will never get any range time!
In the meantime, don't forget to keep an eye on the San Francisco and Chicago lawsuits, which are tailored to force the question of incorporation. That's going to be the Next Big Thing in this fight.

The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.
And it gets better.

#1 job hazard for journalists? Speaking the truth.
(Via Irons in the Fire)
Irish journalist Kevin Meyers has been "Writing what I should have written so many years ago" and now he's in some hot water with the professional PC crowd there. The Smallest Minority has the whole story (along with some politically incorrect commentary).
