I like calling North Carolina home...

Yeah, I was born and raised here, but the real reason I still live here is the people. People like Assistant Randolph County District Attorney Andy Gregson, Randolph County District Attorney Garland Yates and Randolph County Sheriff Maynard Reid.

Speaking on the subject of concealed carry, Sheriff Reid says

“People who can pass the class and the screening process to get a concealed carry permit are not the kind of people we have trouble with. The people we worry about are those with guns who are up to no good.”

The Sheriff of neighboring Montgomery County,
Jeff Jordan, had this to add:

“The screening process is so vigorous, we can be assured this is an upstanding citizen.”

It's nice to live where the local law understands and supports your Constitutional rights.
