If I wanted to buy something that cost $100 in the year of my birth, it would currently cost $680.74. This is an indicator in how debased our currency currently is. It gets worse--for example, $100 in 1913 is $2035.35 today.

Departure
My mom passed from this life Saturday at 5:30 PM. She was resting comfortably and just slipped away.
While it's hard, it's good to know that she is no longer suffering. Goodbye, Mom.
