Wading into the Great Debate

If you're a shooter, you've doubtless heard and probably participated in the Great Debate about the 5.56 NATO round. (For those who aren't shooters and don't have the foggiest notion what I'm talking about, it's an argument about whether or not size matters.)

The American Thinker has this excellent article on the subject. It, among other things, convinced me that while I'd like to own an AR pattern rifle (I used an M-16 in the Army wa-a-a-y back when) for fun, I'd better own a more substantial caliber as well. Just in case, of course.
